After a lifelong career in engineering, frustrated with the sometimes illogical theories and explanations of physics, author Miles Pelton has set out to challenge physicists to open their eyes and minds to the fundamental principles that are being hidden by an anti-creation mindset. In so doing, he opens the door to understanding a common ground between scientific and religious mysteries. “First Law of Physics, Let There Be Light” is a comprehensive book and guide for readers to have an unbiased look at the process of creation and finally from a better understanding and impression of the wonders of physics.

All things including religion and science are products of creation. Both, while pursuing different goals, are involved in studying and explaining a common event known as creation. The goal of religion to influence the behavior of man is not in conflict or in opposition to the goal of Physics to understand the physical laws involved in creation. There is no justification for conflict or opposition between those goals. This is the belief Pelton wants readers to take away from in his book.

In the desire to answer a question posted by his younger brother before death and the yearning to find out answers that kept on bugging Pelton since he was a child, he uses his experiences to warn readers in popular, non-technical and unbiased language to clarify the fundamental physics involved in creation. It cuts through the mystery and illogic contained in religious wisdom and the science’s constantly updated explanations.

Through his book, Pelton aims for a unifying reason that removes the anti-religious creation biases of the scientists. For readers, it opens the door to a fuller understanding of physics needed to support advances technology. All in all, “First Law of Physics, Let There Be Light” is an eye-opener, a well-conceived, rewarding reading experience that fully bridges the gap between religion and science in the all-important, fundamental need for humanity to truly understand creation.
