First up is the Monster Trans monthly Charity Cruise-In that is hosted at Chick-fil-A of Spring Hill the first Tuesday of every month. The Charity Cruise-In's are always free to the car show participants as well as the spectators. All of the proceeds from Monster Transmission will be donated to the Charity as well as a percentage from Chick-fil-A's sales. The September 4th Benefiting Charity for the Cruise-In will be the Alzheimer's Family Organization. The Mission of the A.F.O. is to provide educational programs, support services and assistance to caregivers, families and individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia. Next on the list is a spectacular car show at the Big Daddy Don Garlits Race Museum. This event will be held on September 8th from 8am-5pm. For those that aren't exactly sure how to get there the address is, 13700 Southwest 16th Avenue Ocala, FL 34473. The Oldest Car Club "Kustoms of America" will be presenting a Spectacular Car Show at the Big Daddy Don Garlits Racing Museum with Monster Transmission as a Gold Sponsor and the Choice Transmission Company for the Kustoms of America. The proceeds and donations from the event will be given to the Veteran's Hospital in Ocala. Don Garlits who is also known as the "King of the Dragsters" is a legend in drag racing to say the least. He will be opening his museum for the attendants and spectators. Under tall pines in Northern Florida is a romantic setting for lovers of the south. Don Garlits Museum is a great display of custom built drag racing veterans and memorabilia. Having a car show on the grounds is a natural! Come on out for an awesome memorable event! For the Show Car Entrants there is an entry fee of $20.00 and the day of entry fee will be $25.00. The event is open to all Hot Rod's and Customs. Be sure to register your vehicle early as the list is filling fast.
Moving along will be another Free Car Show, with Free Admission, and Free Refreshments! This will be taking place on September 23rd from 10am - 6pm. The show will be located at Component General, Inc., 2445 Success Drive, Odessa, FL 33556
Be sure to come out for this Free, fun filled, family event! Donations are encouraged to support the Foundation for Early Learning's mission of promoting the importance of high quality Early Education within Pasco and Hernando Counties. Mr. James Cook, Founder and CEO of Component General, Inc., and respected member of the Board of Directors for the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties and the Foundation for Early Learning, and his family will open their privately owned museum of antiques and classic cars to Foundation the public. You will be able to tour some of the most important innovations in American culture. Again the car show is free to all Cruisers and will be presented by Monster Transmission & Performance. Hernando County's very own Weeki Wachee will be allowing Monster Transmission to host a car show within it's park boundaries during the recognition of the parks first swim. Come see some of the most beautiful cars from around Spring Hill in one of the prettiest settings you can imagine; our own Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Admission to the car show is included in the admission fee to the Park during regular Park hours; 9:00am - 5:30pm. The Car show is open to classics, hot-rods, rat-rods, antiques, and imports. There will be great goody bags, award plaques and a lot of fun surprises planned, bring your Valve Cover Racers, too! There will be races throughout the day and don't forget your camera! All profits from this car show go to The Friends of Weeki Wachee, the Citizens Support Organization whose mission is; "To work to generate and create additional resources and support for the Weeki Wachee Springs State Park".
Now we save the best for last! Come see Monster Transmission with the Ocala Pumpkin Run in one of the largest Car Show Events around! Scheduled for the weekend of October 26-28th, 2012, car enthusiasts and spectators can look forward to three days of amazing car action and much more! Families can come together to enjoy cars of all makes and models from all eras, take a prized car to the corral for potential buyers to see, shop with some of the best automotive vendors, enjoy local merchants and their products and services, and so much more.
