Multi-Tech Systems Launches FaxFinder® Version 2.1

Multi-Tech Systems, a global manufacturer of unified communications fax solutions, has launched an updated version FaxFinder® fax-to-email server. FaxFinder Version 2.1, features several new enhancements that allow faxes to be sent and received from a desktop computer.

With the FaxFinder version 2.1 fax server, users can now send faxes directly from Microsoft Word®, Microsoft Excel®, and Microsoft PowerPoint® by clicking on the convenient “FaxFinder” icon. FaxFinder users can also organize their contacts into groups for faster fax creation and distribution. In addition to having access to their own contact list, users can access a global contact list that is common to all FaxFinder users. Other enhancements include greater control and visibility by Fax Administrators and the ability to archive outbound faxes in a network drive.

FaxFinder integrates with third-party applications through the web services API. Developers can find resources and information on the FaxFinder’s Web-Services API and examples of T.37 (email-to-fax) implementation at multitech.net, a developer community created by the Multi-Tech engineering team.

FaxFinder version 2.1 is now available with all models. Version 2.1 upgrades are also available for existing FaxFinder FF130, FF230, FF430 and FF830 models through the Multi-Tech website at multitech.com.
