MyTechHelp, a global provider of tech support services for issues related to computers and other consumer electronics, is working with Workforce One, a Broward County employment agency, to add at least 200 more agents who can provide technical help, sales and customer service.

The job fair will take place on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 and Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Workforce One will be on site to provide staff and a mobile unit to assist applicants.

"We would love to add 500 new positions over the next six months,” says Meredith Jimenez, Corporate Development for Saveology. “We're looking to grow as fast as we can."

The new MyTechHelp agents can earn a salary ranging from $35,000 to $55,000 annually, based on experience and overall job performance.

Schools like New Horizons, the world’s largest independent IT training company with 300 centers in 70 countries, sends several graduates directly to MyTechHelp who quickly leverage their newly acquired skills to provide technical support. To date, MyTechHelp has hired 25 New Horizons graduates who have received their technical certifications.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for entry-level candidates to assist customers with typical issues, from slow-running computers to iPhone or iPad issues," says Russell Giniger, Russell Giniger, SVP Sales for MyTechHelp.

According to SunSentinel.com, last month, the Labor Department announced southern U.S. outpaced other regions in the number of job openings in July. In August, Florida online ads increased to 264,253, up from 230,949 in August, 2011.

With Saveology, parent company of MyTechHelp, opening a new 100,000 square-foot headquarters in early 2012, the company plans to create 700 jobs across the company in customer service, technical support, sales, marketing and advertising.
