Miller is currently writing the sequel that should be ready in 2010. In August of 2009, his second novel, "The Old School Warrior," will be available for sale. In this nail-biter, a newly elected president faces mounting economic woes and threats from high level corporate and Congressional members. To make matters worse, a radical new invention intended for cancer treatments is discovered to be adaptable for military purposes that can alter the balance of power. Miller's ability to create action-heroes and blend them into technology, military, economics and politics provides a new platform for readers to stretch their minds.

Miller was born in Cincinnati in 1951. He was 7 when his mother moved the family to Oshkosh, Wisconsin after his father's death. He attended the University of Wisconsin and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in economics. After military service, he and his new bride moved to Washington, D.C to start a career in 1976.
