The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Gail Gerntrup as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Gail Gerntrup is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Ms. Gerntrup is CEO of Hospice of Okeechobee, Inc. In her role, she specializes in daily operations and management, grant writing, patient care, financial reporting, compliance with all government standards and leadership mentoring.

Under Ms. Gerntrup’s direction, Hospice of Okeechobee, Inc., was named Outstanding Nonprofit of Okeechobee County in 2015 and she received the Outstanding Story Award in 2014 by the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association.

Ms. Gerntrup received her Master’s degree in HR Development and Administration from Barry University of Miami. She is currently involved with FHPCA as a Board Member. For her commitment to achieving success according to her personal standards of excellence, and for her outstanding accomplishments in enriching her position with her diversified proficiencies, Ms. Gerntrup is being honored as a leader and role model for her profession.
