National Association of Professional Women Inducts Theresa Wilson Quinn, CTP, Cash Manager, Kate Spade & Co., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Theresa Wilson Quinn, CTP, selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Theresa Wilson Quinn as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in wholesale management. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I’m pleased to recognize Theresa with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

With 26 years as Cash Manager, Theresa Wilson Quinn brings exemplary financial experience to her position. Her work ethic has stood the test of two different ownership changes, as Kate Spade & Company was formerly Fifth & Pacific as well as Liz Claiborne, Inc.

As a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Ms. Wilson Quinn fulfilled the requirement of passing an exam needed to earn the certification. According to the CTP website, “The CTP designation sets the standard in the treasury profession and is a global symbol of excellence. It signifies that you have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to effectively execute critical functions related to corporate liquidity, capital and risk management.”

Ms. Wilson Quinn’s job duties include bank relationship management, daily cash position, bank account maintenance, wire transfers, monthly journal entries, Treasury workstation implementation and working with the internal auditing and treasury staff. When not working, Ms. Wilson Quinn furthers her professional development through membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Established in 1993, Kate Spade & Co. started with six handbag silhouettes and grew into a merger with Liz Claiborne, Inc. by 2007. The company has grown into a global lifestyle brand that offers a vast array of high-quality products, including handbags and clothing, jewelry, shoes, stationery, eyewear, baby, fragrance, tabletop, bedding and gifts.
