The group had the opportunity to network, get to know one another, and hear a presentation about how to travel in style by Chapter President Beth Caldwell, owner of A Touch of Gold Travel.
The meeting started promptly at 7:30am. Beth opened the meeting with greetings and remarks about the responses coming in from the Chapter’s current email survey project. Member Susan Dodson was awarded her magnetized name badge with congratulations on her continued support and attendance.
“Our monthly breakfast meeting was once again the perfect opportunity for members and guests to network, get reacquainted, and stay informed,” said Beth.
After networking and introductions, Beth began her presentation. She explained to the group that her business, A Touch of Gold Travel, is a unique travel agency that offers extra special touches to ensure a trip is properly organized. Her agency works hard to see to it that the many extras a traveler may enjoy when they get to their destination are always included. Beth shared with the group the various things they can do to make their trip even more memorable. She also emphasized the importance of being insured when traveling.
“It is very important to be insured against the unexpected on a trip that you have invested a lot of your hard earned money on. I can advise and guide you to the right insurance company suited for your needs,” said Beth.
She concluded her presentation with a handout that outlined her specific points and included supporting comments. Beth also handed out a glossy flyer featuring an enticing April cruise coming up in 2013, departing from the fantastic city of San Francisco, for 15 days to the romantic islands of Hawaii, where four islands will be visited during nine full days at sea. Beth told members and guests that she is available to answer any of their travel questions and will work tirelessly to find them the best airfare available online.
