Members were then asked to introduce themselves and talk briefly about their companies and the products they provide.

After member introductions, Jacqueline spoke about NAPW and the benefits it offers its members, such as networking, continuing education, and discount perks. Jacqueline mentioned the current discount offered by Lenovo computers and passed around a flyer showing how the members benefit. At this time members were given the opportunity to network, talk more about their companies, and exchange business cards and promotional materials.
“Members expressed their desire to learn more about how to successfully integrate a new business plan into action to help grow their businesses. It was decided that this would be the main focus for the next Chapter meeting,” said Jacqueline.
Jacqueline expressed the need for a Chapter board and asked members to think about where they would like to serve. Doris Kurtz decided to take on the role of Chapter Treasurer. Jacqueline also informed the members about the time and date for the next meeting. The next meeting will be held on August 20th, 2012 at 12pm and the location will be announced at a later date due to the need to invite a guest speaker to discuss small business planning and the business plan as a tool.
