Golf Vacation Ferry Experience
The grand prize for the contest is a golf/tour package for two and includes a three night stay at the Rodd's Brudenell River, A Rodd Signature Resort, tour of Gahan Brewery, lobster boat tour with lobster dinner included from Top Notch Tours and three rounds of golf, one 18 hole round of golf at Fox Meadow Golf Club, Dundarave Golf Club, and a Cavendish golf course to be determined. The second prize will be a dinner for two in the Top of the Park Restaurant while enjoying an evening of racing at the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre, plus receive a limited edition Gold Cup & Saucer merchandise item to celebrate their 50Th edition. Finally, there will be regular draws for ferry passes.
Barry MacLeod of Golf PEI says, "A PEI experience isn't complete without a game of golf on one of our scenic golf courses." While Lee Drake of the Harness Racing PEI in a celebratory statement said, "Celebrating our 50th running of the Gold Cup & Saucer speaks to the value Islanders have in the continuing tradition of harness racing in PEI and the Top of the Park dining is a top feature."
