Burbank, CA (PRWEB) October 04, 2012

AnEFX, the Emmy® award-winning audio post-production studio, has been selected to deliver its brilliant sound design for ABC’s new series, Nashville, premiering Wednesday, October 10th, at 10/9c. The AnEFX team is particularly well-suited to the sensitive musical needs of this particular production, as many on the crew are trained musicians or have professional backgrounds in the music industry. Chad Savage, Co-Producer on Nashville, stated, “From their superior editorial prowess to their pitch-perfect sound design, AnEFX CEO, Jack Levy, and his team have become my go-to facility for television projects, including most recently, Nashville. Their expertise in this field and professionalism are unparalleled. I cannot recommend them enough.”

Nashville features an all-star cast and even more star power in its music. That’s because, unlike many shows with supposedly golden vocals, the cast of Nashville will not be dubbing a singer’s voice over lip-syncing. Nashville’s performers will actually be performing, which will highlight the real talent of the actors portraying the two main characters, the sassy Juliette Barnes (played by Hayden Panettiere) and entertainment icon Rayna James (played by Connie Britton). This production choice will also highlight the skill of AnEFX’s studio and staff, who will be ensuring the recordings are artfully integrated into the show in a beautiful and dramatic way.

The suspenseful new musical drama follows two women in the country music industry, one a newcomer and the other an already famous music star. Nashville depicts the journey of these women while revealing the inner story of competition between stars. Nashville is one of the first shows to examine this relationship, and to do so with such a real storyline and sound.

AnEFX was selected by Lionsgate and ABC executives because of their stellar reputation for high quality sound design and profound devotion to clients. Jack Levy stated, “I’m very excited to be working with this team again. There was such a great sense of camaraderie on our last project; they really know how to devote themselves to the big picture of any show we work on together. I know that mindset will help Nashville be successful as well.”

The AnEFX team aims to customize, record and tailor the sound to meet the specific needs of Nashville, syncing the audio design with the tone of the series. The show already has quite a following on Facebook and Twitter, as well as a big buzz amongst country music fans, and the impressive team of skilled experts at AnEFX will ensure that the sound of ABC’s Nashville will be a success.
