Staff of SmartWatt Energy’s small business program will participate in a business energy seminar breakfast in Canton, NY and host an upcoming Lunch & Learn event in Syracuse, NY.
The St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency is hosting a free Renew St. Lawrence County Business Energy breakfast workshop on April 17, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at the Best Western University Inn at 90 E. Main Street in Canton, NY. The seminar is being held to give small businesses in St. Lawrence County the resources and information they need to make energy-efficiency upgrades at their facilities. Danielle Marquis, SmartWatt Energy’s Marketing Director, will provide a short presentation on National Grid’s Small Business Program and detail qualification measures and available incentives and financing from National Grid for energy-efficiency upgrades. The National Grid Small Business Program Lunch & Learn, hosted by SmartWatt Energy, is a free event and will be held at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Syracuse, NY on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. The Lunch & Learn event will focus on eligibility requirements for small businesses to participate in the National Grid Small Business Program and provide an overview of the incentives and energy savings small businesses can gain through energy-efficiency improvements. The event will include a buffet lunch, networking with staff of SmartWatt Energy’s National Grid Small Business Program and a short presentation by Brandon Scribner, General Manager of SmartWatt Energy’s Syracuse office who will provide details on the program.
