Many consider Northern California as the center of the spa universe, with a legacy of creative and cutting-edge therapies.

Fish Camp, CA (PRWEB) September 21, 2012

Yosemite, San Francisco, and Sonoma Valley wine country are perennially at the top of the Northern California (NorCal) travel itinerary. “Wine, Woods, Water & Wraps,” a new spa initiative from the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, Hotel Vitale San Francisco, and Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, makes the California spa travel dream come true.

Many consider Northern California as the center of the spa universe, with a regional legacy of creative and cutting-edge therapies and treatments. The trio of hotel spas in Wine, Woods, Water & Wraps – Ascent Spa at Tenaya Lodge, Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn’s Willow Stream Spa, and Spa Vitale – offer NorCal’s “tradti-zen” of wellness in some of the state’s iconic travel destinations.

Travelers can select signature themed spa & lodging packages at each property, and mix & match to create an indulgent multi-day itinerary. Each property in the Wine, Woods, Water & Wraps line-up will book their own package, creating the possibility of a modular, multi-property vacation that is fun and easy to “wrap up."

Wine: Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa

A storied California wine country retreat, the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa features Sonoma Valley’s natural mineral hot springs and signature resort amenities including Willow Stream Spa, the legendary Sonoma Golf Club, and Santé, a Michelin award winning restaurant.

Willow Stream Spa was recently rated one of America’s Top Spas by Travel + Leisure Magazine. The 40,000 square foot spa is beautifully designed with amenities that promote health, relaxation and rejuvenation.

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn’s Rejuvenation Package includes one night accommodation, daily breakfast for two in multiple property outlets or in-room dining, and one 60-minute spa treatment for two people (up to a value of $159 each, both treatments may be used by one person). The Rejuvenation Package is available year-round, subject to room availability, and starts at $479/night (double occupancy, does not include taxes or gratuities).

Woods: Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite

The all-season resort set two miles from Yosemite’s South Gate, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is your base camp for experiencing the best of Yosemite National Park. Unveiled as the only full-service spa in the Yosemite Sierra, Ascent Spa at Tenaya Lodge is quickly taking its place as a new Yosemite icon. Like Half Dome and El Capitan, there’s plenty of granite (and a waterfall!) in the 10,000-square foot spa along with 12 treatment rooms, men’s and women’s steam and sauna rooms, two indoor and two outdoor pools and hot tubs.

Ascent Spa at Tenaya Lodge’s new Spa120 package pairs a deluxe king or double room with 120 minutes of spa time, any way you like. During your stay, take any combination of 30-, 60- or 90-minute treatments that equal 120 minutes. And since all that wellness is bound to stoke your appetite, Spa 120 includes a 10% dining discount valid during your stay, just to help you keep up with all that new energy you’re going to have after your “Ascent.”

Available year-round, Spa120 is a two-night package that starts at $185/night for late Fall 2012 ($370 for the two-night stay) to $330/night for Summer 2013 ($660 for the two-night stay). Spa120 is also subject to availability. To book, call toll-free, (866) 762-1582 and reference offer MPSPA120.
