Omaha, Nebraska (PRWEB) January 12, 2009 -- Seven teenagers from Girls Incorporated of Omaha are very excited about the inauguration for President Obama! The reason for their excitement? They recorded ' President Obama Gives Us Hope In Our Heart,' and the girls are hoping their song, written by Karen Sokolof Javitch, will reach the ears of the president-elect! 'We know he would be proud of it, if he could only hear it,' one of the Girls Inc. teenagers said. 'I think he could relate to us, because he has two daughters and the oldest one is just a little bit younger than we are.' Senator Barack Obama spoke at a Girl's Incorporated lunch about four years ago in Omaha. The girls were thrilled he won the election and they jumped at the chance to sing a song in support of him. 'We had never been to a recording studio and to sing for our new president was more than we could have hoped for! We just really hope President Obama gets to hear our song!'
Ciera, Morgan, Brittney, Latisia, Makayla, Kainette and Ashley are not giving up hope that the soon-to-be president will hear their song. 'You never know. Maybe we'll be invited to the inauguration!' said one of the girls.
