Objectivity, Inc. Announces Record-Breaking Quarterly Revenue
Growth Attributed to Customer Deployments in Targeted Vertical Markets
Sunnyvale, Calif. (PRWEB) April 10, 2008 -- Objectivity, Inc. has capitalized on multiple quarters of market momentum for its real-time, distributed solutions for complex data management by posting record revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2008'.
Continued adoption of Objectivity/DB, Objectivity’s data repository platform, helped fuel a 51 percent increase in revenue over the quarter ended March 31, 2007 and a 21 percent increase in revenue for the nine months ended March 31, 2008 compared to the same time period last year.
Objectivity President and CEO Jay Jarrell attributed the growth to the company’s strategic investments in marketing, sales, customer support, and customer-focused product developments over the last several years.
“We had significant success with respect to the number of new customers we signed in the commercial and government verticals where our flagship product, Objectivity/DB, has a unique advantage, and I am pleased with the resulting 24 percent profit margin,” Jarrell said.
In addition to contributing to another profitable quarter, the revenue growth continued to enhance Objectivity’s balance sheet with cash and receivables increasing 10 percent sequentially over the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
Jarrell anticipates that growth will continue to accelerate.
“Looking forward, the usage requirements, complexity and performance of our high-end customers’ applications will continue to move in our direction, and we are in a strong position to see new adoption of our embedded technology in the future,” Jarrell said.
