Oneida Launches Foodservice Photo Contest on Facebook Inviting Professional Chefs to Showcase Their Culinary Creations

Oneida Ltd. is pleased to announce their second "Bring It To The Table" Chef Plating Contest, encouraging professional chefs to feature their culinary expertise in plating. The total prize package value of $4,000 in Oneida foodservice products will be split between three winners.

Oneida Ltd. sets the table for competition with this year’s “Bring it to the Table” Chef Plating Photo Contest on Facebook. Intended to raise excitement in the foodservice social media community, all winning entries will be voted on and selected by Oneida’s Facebook fans.

The contest kicks off accepting entry submissions from May 15 – July 15, 2013. With the expectation of exceptional presentations and exquisite culinary creativity, the competition is geared toward professional chefs. All entries must be plated on Oneida Foodservice product. If entrants do not have access to an Oneida product, they may message Oneida directly through Facebook to request one. Final submissions include an uploaded photo and brief description of the plating presentation.

Voting will be opened to Oneida Foodservice Facebook fans from July 16 – August 15, 2013. Fans will be asked to evaluate submissions based on uniqueness, originality and appealing presentation. Winners will be announced via Facebook on August 21, 2013. First place will be awarded $2,500 in Oneida products. Second place will be awarded $1,000 in Oneida products. Third place will be awarded $500 in Oneida products.
