Miami, FL (PRWEB) June 19, 2012
Hip-hop artist Oso Slick has released the video for the single, “Want It” featured on his Sk8 and Destroy album. As the winner of the Coast 2 Coast Films Video Contest, he was flown to Miami to make the video.
The concept behind “Want It,” filmed and edited by James Mills of Coast 2 Coast Films, is celebrating the start of the weekend by having a good time. Oso Slick calls this “Friday Night Fever.”
“Whether it’s hanging with friends, dancing, drinking, etc these are the moments that make life’s struggles and hard times worth it,” he says.
Ricky “Oso Slick” Jorgensen grew up in the mountains of Tuolumne County, California near Yosemite National Park. He is not your average rapper as he is a blue collar worker by day and considers himself an adrenaline junky who loves skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing and anything else that gets his blood pumping. Oso Slick’s musical influences come from various genres including hip-hop, reggae, punk rock, blue grass, and classic rock. Through his music, he writes about things he has been though which he finds people relate to. His style combines original lyrics over multiple styles of beats which give his music a different sound than most hip-hop you hear today.
To date he has performed at various venues all over California bringing out mixed crowds of hipsters, punk rockers,Rastas, and more who want to have a good time. Oso Slick promotes love, the connection of people and the end to hate. He has worked hard throughout his career to get where he is and is ready to take his career to the next level.
“Want It” is now available on YouTube.
