The doors to the Show Home of the Cubita Wyndham Grand residential/hotel project, located in the city of Chitre on Panama’s Azuero Peninsula, were officially opened to an enthusiastic gathering of local community members, prospective buyers and representatives from a variety of business and tourism activities. As guests arrived, they were invited to explore the house with Cubita personnel serving as guides and answering questions. Expressions of admiration for the tasteful elegance, well-planned layout and superb quality of the materials and finishes used throughout the house were heard repeatedly as guests mingled and enjoyed the sumptuous buffet of hors d’oeuvres, wine and mixed drinks served on the patio.
Panama Real Estate:
The Tonosi Model Show Home is one of two models of single-family residences available in the residential area of the Cubita Wyndham Grand project. Features of this model include three bedrooms, each with a full bathroom, a foyer, study, large living/dining area, spacious kitchen with breakfast bar, laundry room, maid’s bedroom and bathroom, and an ample patio opening off the living/dining area through sliding glass doors. The central patio feature is a lovely interior glass-walled garden visible from every area of the house.( A video of the project can be found here) The construction area for the Tonosi model is approximately 232 m2 or 2500 square feet, and includes a separate carport for two cars and an ample and beautifully landscaped lot with an area of approximately 600 m2 or 6450 square feet.
The Colonial theme which is the unifying characteristic of the entire Cubita Wyndham Grand project is evident throughout the Show Home in the carefully selected materials. Elegant matte ceramic floor tiles, rich mahogany-colored solid wood doors and kitchen cabinetry, sliding glass windows and patio doors with an antique brass finish, colonial style clay roof tiles, and top-of-the-line bathroom furnishings and lighting fixtures are just some of the details that set this project apart from all others in the region.
In addition to the 26 homes and 64 apartments that form the residential area, the project will include a luxury 100-room Wyndham Grand Hotel scheduled to open for business in August of 2013, as well as a shopping plaza, a museum highlighting the region’s heritage and local artisans, and a colonial chapel which will host regular Sunday mass and serve as the perfect venue for weddings in Azuero.
The Cubita project has become an icon of the dynamic economic growth currently taking place in the Azuero Pensinsula, confirmed in a recent economic study. The study reveals that Azuero outranks most provinces in the country in a number of economic indicators, including per capita GDP and the Human Development Index, a measurement of quality of life based on factors such as education, life expectancy, etc. Especially significant is the fact that in the past 10 years, over 60 large companies with operations at the national level have established branches in Chitre, meaning more jobs and greater opportunities at every level, including commerce, health, education and recreation.
The high spirits and positive feedback expressed by the guests at the grand opening of the Cubita Show Home can only portend further successes as this authentically Panamanian project, which is already 60% sold and approaching construction completion, issues in a new era not only for Cubita’s homeowners, hotel guests and commercial establishments, but for the entire Azuero region and its friendly, energetic and enterprising population.
