Parature Named 2006 Advanced Technology Company of the Year

Monte Jade, a non-profit organization designed to benefit Asian-owned scientific and technological businesses and entrepreneurs in the Greater Washington area, invited their members, selected investors, and economic development agencies of Maryland and Montgomery County to nominate Asian American companies for recognition in the selected categories of Advanced Technology/IT and Biotech.
Parature was nominated for the Advanced Technology category by Tien Wong, CEO of Opus 8 and member of Monte Jade. Mr. Tien stated, “the nomination was based on my evaluation of Parature’s strong management team, promising company growth and progress, as well as the company’s recent successful completion of Series A financing.” The Monte Jade Award Selection Committee evaluated the nominations based on criteria of job and revenue growth, investments received, and technology innovations. The recommended winners were submitted to the Monte Jade Board who unanimously voted to recognize Parature as the 2006 Advanced Technology Company of the Year.
