(PRWEB) April 28, 2009 -- Six California cities are included in the top ten markets in the nation with the highest foreclosures rates during the first quarter of 2009, according to a recent report from RealtyTrac, an online foreclosure listing company. Coupled with the growing statewide unemployment rate, now at 11 percent, and according to MDA DataQuick, an 80 percent increase in default notices issued to California homeowners during the first three months of 2009, compared to the previous period, foreclosure activity is expected to continue throughout 2009.
