If you are looking to sell your Harley-Davidson dealership, look no further than George Chaconas and Performance Brokerage Services. - Terry Davis, Seller of Eagle's Nest Harley-Davidson
Irvine, California (PRWEB) May 30, 2014
Performance Brokerage Services, a Harley-Davidson, Powersports and new car dealership broker, announces the sale of Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson in Lathrop, California from the Davis family to the Westbrook family, a local Harley-Davidson of Sacramento dealer. This transaction was exclusively facilitated by Mr. George C. Chaconas of Performance Brokerage Services.
Now located at 13900 Harlan Road in Lathrop, California, the dealership was originally established as a small mom and pop operation in downtown Stockton. In 2006, Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson was rebuilt from the ground up featuring a brand new, state-of-the-art facility located just off US Interstate 5.
Mr. Terry Davis, along with his two sisters, purchased Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson in 2003 and has owned and operated it since. Through the economic downturn, the Davis family took Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson to rank in the top 30% of Harley-Davidson dealerships nationwide.
Also owning two RV dealerships that require supervision, the Davis family hired George C. Chaconas of Performance Brokerage Services to help the family simplify their portfolio and divest of Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson. Terry Davis said, “I was very pleased with the level of professionalism and expertise that I received from George C. Chaconas. George worked hard to find multiple buyers for our store, and created an environment where the buyers moved quickly without playing games. If you are looking to sell your Harley-Davidson dealership, look no further than George Chaconas and Performance Brokerage Services.”
The buyer, the Westbrook family, owns and operates Harley-Davidson of Sacramento, California, just 62 miles from their newly acquired dealership. Harley-Davidson of Sacramento was opened in 1919 and is one of the oldest continuously operated dealerships in the world. After several ownership changes over the years, Jay Westbrook entered into an agreement to purchase Harley-Davidson of Sacramento in 1992. Ten years later in October 2002, the Westbrook family became the sole owners. Jay Westbrook was a former District Manager for Harley-Davidson Motor Company and was able to bring his many years of expertise into the retail side of the Harley-Davidson business.
The Westbrook family formed a partnership with their General Manager of the Sacramento dealership, Mr. John Lund, on the purchase of Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson. After the purchase, the buyer, Andrew Westbrook stated, “George Chaconas brought to my family the perfect strategic acquisition opportunity with Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson. We felt that George genuinely had our best interests in mind and thank him for sharing the Harley-Davidson dealership for sale with our family and new partner.”
George Chaconas, the head of the National Harley-Davidson and Powersports Division at Performance Brokerage Services and the representative for this transaction stated, “It was a pleasure assisting such a terrific group of people such as the Davis and Westbrook families. Rarely, do we get the opportunity to work on a dealership with such a reputation as Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson. I was thrilled to be able to provide the Westbrook family with an ideal acquisition and to help the Davis family in selling their dealership.”
