Just as over 30 years ago the introduction of Pop Rocks® stunned the candy market, we believe the introduction of POPrs® will have the same impact on the healthy foods market.

Lynn A Hesson, founder of PoppingFUN, Inc. has created POPrs®. POPrs® are little Carbonated Crystals which are embedded into flavors and vitamins. These little sparkling seasonings are poured on and mixed into good foods by kids from ages 3 and up. POPrs® make good foods like yogurt, applesauce, peanut butter, corn and broccoli appealing and interesting. Lynn has four boys, and so he is an expert on one of the great perplexing family issues of our time – trying to get picky eaters at the dinner table eating healthy foods. The POPrs® concept is for children to be served good food selected by their picky parents, and then be given a packet of POPrs® to sprinkle on and mix into the good food. Yogurt begins to immediately change colors and make delightful sounds which entice kids to enjoy yogurt. The Applesauce version has a nice cinnamon flavor which makes applesauce an immediate favorite. The newest flavor in the POPrs® family, butter, has been successful in getting kids to eat and like veggies. The same concept used for a wide range of other healthy foods.

Over 20 years ago, Lynn A Hesson, the inventor of POPrs®, created a global market for carbonated crystals as ingredients in a wide range of foods. He traveled to over 30 countries, showing leading companies how to use these great fun making products as an ingredient in their products. From chocolate, to ice cream, to soups, to yogurt and more, in countries as wide ranging as Ireland to China to Israel to South Africa to Egypt to Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and more, Lynn has been there. During these travels Lynn learned how kids everywhere have something in common – they all like the tickling, popping, crackling sensation in their food and in their mouth.

Now happily home in America, Lynn has used his experiences and creativity to create POPrs®. POPrs® are made from scratch at a factory in the little town of Wrightstown, Wisconsin, one of only four factories in the world capable of making Carbonated Crystals™ - the others are located in China, Turkey and Spain. Lynn’s company is working to have the same global reach with its healthy eating program.
