Alliance, New Process and Products Stir Interest and Increased Resale Value for Stuttgart's Aging Porsche Flagship Models

The 928 Leather Shop and Top Notch Upholstery develop new process and product line to keep Porsche on list of finest classic autos.

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) February 8, 2007 -- Two firms in the classic autos field have teamed up to develop a new process and product line that help put some of Porsche's finest classic sports cars on the list of sought after classic automobiles. Using newly engineered foam, plastics and materials not previously available, The 928 Leather Shop in Dearborn Heights, MI and Top Notch Upholstery in Livonia, MI have produced a new line of Italian Alcantara and genuine leather replacement instrument panels, dashboards and interior panels for Porsche models 911, 924, 944 and the once heralded flagship model of Porsche, the 8 cylinder Porsche 928.

When the interior of any classic automobile - Porsche or otherwise - looks new, it's a better value for the customer and makes a big difference in the sales process.
The new line has sparked interest among enthusiasts and dealers since the new interior products and service give restorers a source for replacement parts, owners and collectors a better looking and more valuable car, and resellers a opportunity for higher profits. It also helps maintain Porsche on the list of sought after classics, similar to the Detroit muscle cars of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

"It's true - the Porsche 928 and 911 series vehicles are in demand and outsell the American muscle cars," says Ron Yono of Yono Brokerage Services, Inc. in Farmington, MI, a hugely successful broker and consignment dealer of American classic and exotic autos. "When the interior of any classic automobile - Porsche or otherwise - looks new, it's a better value for the customer and makes a big difference in the sales process."
