ProRehab is proud to announce their sponsorship of the Sisters In Service (SIS) 2012 Women’s TRYathlon to promote women’s health. SIS, a Knox County Community Foundation, focuses on women in philanthropy and works to raise funds to address issues relevant to women of all ages such as connecting widows and single women looking for support and companionship, providing guidance and advice for women who unexpectedly find themselves facing family financial decisions, and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
Jill Templin, ProRehab PTA in Vincennes and SIS 2012 Women’s TRYathlon board member states, “ProRehab has been a supporter of SIS’ TRYathlon for women since it was first started six years ago. Several employees will be participating and volunteering at this year’s event and we encourage all women to come out and join in the fun!”
The TRYathlon will start at 8:00 A.M. on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Gregg Park in Vincennes. Immediately following the TRYathlon, participants are invited to stay and celebrate at the awards ceremony. More details about the event can be found at KnoxCountyFoundation.org.
“The ProRehab team is happy to be a part of an event that raises money, awareness, and builds community support for such an amazing foundation,” says Andrea Baumann, PT, ProRehab owner. “It’s our way of saying thank you and honoring the all of the women in our lives while supporting a healthy way of living.”
