Projecting HOPE Film Festival serves to benefit the non-profit work of Mission Vision, the inspiration of Dr. William C. Christie back in 1996 when he took his first of many medical mission trips to Ghana, Africa. Mission Vision has generously helped to make this FREE festival possible. In lieu of purchasing a ticket, they are asking attendees to consider making a donation to this wonderful cause. More information about Mission Vision can be found at their website http://www.mission-vision.org.
Each year thousands of patrons come out for a weekend of God-honoring entertainment on the big-screen, to enjoy inspirational favorites as well as new releases before they hit theaters. Projecting HOPE Film Festival is a way for the Pittsburgh community to come together for faith restoring films that can be enjoyed by the entire family! In the past Projecting HOPE has featured films such as Soul Surfer, Reconciliation, and the ever popular Veggie Tales series. The 2012 festival marks the ten year anniversary of this annual event, and film goers will not want to miss the films selected for this year!
Projecting HOPE is open to the public, and the best part, all feature film viewings are free! Seats are limited and available on a first come first serve basis each day. The box office will open 45 minutes before the first film begins. A limited number of tickets for each show will be available for advance ordering on the Projecting HOPE website for $5 each. With the large turnout from past years, be sure to arrive early to ensure your seat!
