Printa Systems Debuts Tunnel Heat Press to Brand Promotional Products

Promotional products can now be branded expertly and safely with Printa Systems new heat press.

(PRWEB) January 25, 2007 –- Printa Systems is proud to debut a new heat press, designed to brand dye sublimation promotional products and press direct-to-garment images expertly and safely. The new 550 series Tunnel heat press incorporates a unique, ultra user-friendly design that is different from any other heat press on the market. Using a tunnel into which a platen slides in and out of, the user is completely protected at all times from being exposed to the high temperatures emitting from the heated upper platen. The Tunnel also is easier to operate because the physical motion required to load the shirt onto the platen and slide it into the tunnel is much more comfortable and requires less effort than any other system.

Because of its unique design, the Tunnel heat press takes up much less space than traditional swing-away presses. It’s also much lighter in weight because there is no stress on the frame from a platen being lifted and lowered, which means it does not require a heavyweight frame. This results in a truly lifetime machine that will never wear out, and one that weighs less than 60 pounds.

The press has a 16-by-16 inch platen and digital heat and timer controls. The pressure is set manually. Once a shirt, or other promotional product, is loaded and pushed into the press, the heat is activated by pulling on the machine’s handle. Once the timer goes off, the handle is released and the product is pulled out so the user can remove the decorated product without having to worry about scorched fingers.

The Tunnel can be used to heat press promotional products up to an inch thick. In addition to shirts (dye-sublimation, ink-jet transfer or direct-to-garment), it also can be used with mouse pads, all types of dye-sublimation award plaques, bag tags and even clip boards. It’s lightweight makes it ideal to use for any type of mobile business as it can be easily transported, and it takes up a minimal amount of space.
