Darrell Green graduated from St. Paul's College in Lawrenceville, VA and in later years received honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degrees from Marymount University, Washington University and St. Paul's College.

Best known for his 20 year record setting career with the Washington Redskins, he came to be known and lovingly referred to as "Mr. Redskin." His on field accomplishments include two Super Bowl titles, seven selections to the Pro Bowl, and four NFL Fastest Man competition victories. He was named the World's Fastest Athlete in 1991 and was a first ballot Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee in 2008.
