RE/MAX of New Jersey Wins Award for Philanthropic Achievement

RE/MAX of New Jersey raised over $250 thousand for Children's Miracle Network in 2008. New Jersey real estate professionals in five offices were recognized at an awards event held on March 4th. Donations went to Children's Specialized Hospitals in New Jersey and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Moorestown, NJ (PRWEB) March 20, 2009 -- Even as the housing crisis continues to affect the New Jersey real estate and national market, RE/MAX Agents continue to live up to their motto "Outstanding Agents, Outstanding Results." RE/MAX of New Jersey was recognized by the Children's Miracle Network for raising nearly $290,000.00 in 2008.

The donations went to Children's Specialized Hospitals in New Jersey and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The awards event was held March 4th at the RE/MAX International Convention in Las Vegas, NV.

RE/MAX offices and Regions who raised $10,000.00 or more were presented with a special award from Children's Miracle Network. Each was personally recognized by Mike Reagan, senior vice president of brand marketing at RE/MAX International. RE/MAX of New Jersey had five New Jersey realtors who personally raised over $10,000.00. Those offices were RE/MAX Tri County, over $60,000.00, RE/MAX at Barnegat Bay, over $60,000.00, RE/MAX Classic Group, over $20,000.00, RE/MAX Diamond Realtors, over $11,000.00 and RE/MAX Competitive Edge, over $10,000.00.

In 2008, RE/MAX Agents in North America raised over $8 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. "RE/MAX of New Jersey is proud to have had their agents contribute so significantly to that total," said Jeff Snyder, Co-Regional Owner of RE/MAX of New Jersey. Since 1992, RE/MAX of New Jersey has raised nearly $3 million for Children's Miracle Network.
