The new RE/MAX Alliance office is located in a historical building in Olde Town Arvada, 7425 Grandview Avenue, which has been experiencing a boom in development in recent years, including adding dozens of eclectic new restaurants, retail shops and commercial services. Commerce and business traffic are further expected to increase with the opening of the Gold Line light rail connecting Denver Union Station with downtown Arvada, located approximately eight miles northwest of Denver, which is scheduled to open next year.
“It’s exciting to be part of the commercial redevelopment in Olde Town Arvada,” said Mike. “This is where the city established its roots, and we have every reason to be optimistic about the future and are proud to be part of its revitalization.”
Built around 1900, the building that contains the new RE/MAX office is associated with the commercial development of Arvada, and originally housed the Muench Meat Market, founded by Wisconsin natives George and Frank Muench who came to Colorado to improve George’s health. The building reflects 19th century commercial architecture in Arvada through its flat roof with decorative frieze, segmental arched double-hung windows with stone sills, large display windows, and inset entrance.
“Olde Town Arvada, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is where local business owners live their passion and create new dreams in a historic atmosphere,” said Mike, a four-time winner of 5280 Magazine’s Five Star Professional Award. “RE/MAX Alliance is honored to have an office here where we can better sell the Arvada dream.”
