Entertainment Industry Veteran John Pepe Named Chief Operating Officer of Replay Games Inc.
Former Kulabyte Corp. Executive to Spearhead Growth and Business Development
Austin, TX (Vocus/PRWEB ) June 2, 2009 -- Replay Games Inc., a software developer and publisher focused on products for digital download-based platforms and next-generation consoles, today announced that John Pepe, a 20 year veteran of the interactive entertainment industry, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for the Texas-based game development company.
 Mr. Pepe has over 20 years of senior management experience in entertainment, media, and emerging technology industries including interactive entertainment, TV, Film, digital and satellite networks, and digital media. His corporate experience includes Partner with a boutique international management firm, along with roles as Chief Operating Officer for Netcast HD, VP Marketing for Kulabyte, and Chief Operating Officer for Electrocast, an online entertainment and gaming network. His efforts resulted in acquiring content, securing funding, creating products, partnerships, increasing company value, and producing several high profile exhibits, events, and panel groups at NAB, NATPE, Digital Hollywood, AFM, Streaming Media, CES, IBC, and others. In addition to this, he nurtured new clients such as: SONY, MySpace, FOX, MTV, Viacom, Warner Brothers, Adobe, Blockbuster, AMD, Microsoft, EchoStar, Dell, IBM, Sun Microsystems, and many others.

He managed programming strategy, content acquisition, and network carriage negotiating over $100 million of network contracts with such content providers as MTV, Discovery, BBC, ZEE Cinema, and many more. He also developed plans for CINE-Hollywood, a branded movie channel. He is also involved in development, management, representation, and distribution for various film, TV production and technology companies, and has sold TV series and feature films to TruTV, Discovery, PBS, Starz, Encore, A&E, Fox, various distributors and networks worldwide.

John holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California's prestigious Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program.
