Auburn, ME (PRWEB) June 4, 2009 -- Rinck Advertising launches its eco-friendly "Brand Buggies" this summer in Portland, Maine. The eye-catching vehicles are an alternative-energy urban transport system powered by human drivers and produce zero emissions. Each vehicle is custom branded and carries up to three passengers.
Rinck concepted the colorful, branded wraps for the three-wheeled vehicles that will become a major element in the McDonald's® UpTeam street crew this summer. The vehicles feature a full seat in the rear for passengers, bicycle pedals and headlights. The vehicles are operated by trained Branch Touch® Cabbies who are skilled at engaging consumers in conversations about brand and product as well as on-site research and surveying.
"The Brand Buggies are designed to be mobile spectacles that are fun and attention-grabbing but also environmentally responsible," stated Laura Davis, Vice President, Rinck Advertising. "We launched the McDonald's Buggies last week and the response was amazing. They are a blast to ride in and they also provide an opportunity for one-on-one brand conversations. As part of the McDonald's UpTeam, the Brand Buggies are scheduled to be at nine Maine events this summer including the Lobster Festival, La Kermesse, Winslow 4th of July and the L/A Balloon Festival. In addition, the street team will have stilt walkers, giveaways and free product coupons.
