Four proven entrepreneurs and veteran executive coaches have combined their respective expertise in business development and executive coaching to create a progressive firm – Robert Gregory Partners – that aspires to redefine the traditional approach to executive coaching.
Robert Gregory Partners unites best practices from each of its partners’ unique backgrounds and experiences to create a high-level executive coaching firm that is uniquely equipped to optimize the role of executive coaching within large, global corporations. The firm emphasizes a distinctive coaching methodology, tangible measurement of coaching success and superior quality of the executive coaching team.
The partners have developed a pragmatic and disciplined coaching methodology that stresses individual change on behalf of the organization. The aim is to enable each executive to work as effectively as possible within the organization’s environment – with the end goal of advancing business objectives. This approach requires an unusually deep understanding of the company itself as well as the ongoing involvement of others at the company who are involved in the coaching process. The coach reaches beyond the executive – into the company’s business plan, into the human resources department, up to the executive’s manager – to develop and track a sound program for change.
The entrepreneurs behind Robert Gregory Partners have a strong focus on the business side of executive coaching and have underscored the importance of accountability to client companies. The firm has developed a rigorous tracking and reporting process to increase the likelihood of success and ensure the client’s satisfaction. The firm also assigns a managing partner to serve as liaison and manage contractual and financial matters between Robert Gregory Partners and the client company.
In addition, Robert Gregory Partners has assembled an A-team of executive coaches, who have significant experience working with top executives at major, global corporations. These coaches have diverse backgrounds, in numerous industries, to better match the specific needs of all client companies.
Four managing partners are behind Robert Gregory Partners: Robert Drovdlic has more than a decade’s experience as an executive coach, working with C-suite executives at large, global companies. He was director at the Global Consulting Partnership (tGCP), where he designed and delivered coaching programs and other consulting services. Gregory Ruf is an energetic entrepreneur who has launched several successful businesses in on-line recruitment technology, talent management and executive recruiting. Shawn O’Reilly brings C-suite experience in technology and financial services, including as a chief technology officer for J.P. Morgan Chase. Traci Davidson also has a proven track record in technology and serves as director of technology services for Battelle for Kids.
“We realized the need for a firm that could more effectively meet the growing need for professional executive coaching services to key executives at major global corporations, and set about creating it,” said Ruf. “We have a strong start – and I believe we have the expertise, the vision and the commitment to evolve into one of the foremost providers of executive coaching services in the world – and, in the process, to lead executive coaching into the future.”
“Over the years, executive coaching has evolved into a powerful tool to help executives develop their leadership skills,” added Drovdlic. “Yet, like these executives themselves, the practice of executive coaching can continue to grow. We believe that, with the launch of Robert Gregory Partners, we have also launched an advanced approach to working with executives – and our client companies – that will help them realize the full potential of coaching and their business goals.”
