Search and Internet Veteran Robert Rubin Joins ZoomInfo as Vice President of Engineering
Rubin Will Drive Products and Technology for ZoomInfo's Semantic Search Engine
Waltham, Mass. (PRWEB) October 23, 2007 -- ZoomInfo today announced that search veteran Robert Rubin has joined the company as vice president of engineering. Rubin has more than 20 years of experience in product development, including executive positions at Eons and Fast Search and Transfer, and will lead the engineering and development team for ZoomInfo's business information search engine.

Prior to joining ZoomInfo, Rubin was senior vice president of engineering at Eons, where he was responsible for the development of the company's Web site, a social portal for baby boomers. Before that, he was co-founder and CEO at Argo Technology, where he developed personal search technology. Previously, Rubin held senior positions at Fast Search and Transfer, Cahners Business Information (Reed Elsevier), and Lotus Development Corporation. Rubin has a doctorate in computer science from Brown University.
