Severna Park, MD (PRWEB) May 01, 2012
If Language Advantage has its way, more kids in Maryland will soon be speaking the language of Tchaikovsky and Tolstoy. Language Advantage, Foreign Language Learning for Kids, a company that provides many opportunities for kids to acquire and learn a foreign language, will be holding a no cost Russian Language session for Kids on May 22, 2012 to introduce parents and kids to the Russian Language as well as announce the start of the Russian Language Program which will be held at the Severna Park Community Center.
In addition to the language introduction, students from the Broadneck High School Russian program will be performing some traditional Russian songs and dances for everyone.
“Language Advantage is all about offering kids the opportunity to be competitive in the global economy,” said company Director Ken Kennedy. “Since the end of the Cold War, the number of people in the US has declined. That may mean less competition in the job market for those who do study and master the language -- especially if the economic revitalization that some expect to see in Russia does in fact materialize.”
