The Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program offers small minority business owners resources and support to help grow their businesses through counseling, training workshops, management and technical guidance, and access to government contracting opportunities. Every year, government agencies are required by law to purchase a certain percentage of products and services from 8(a) certified companies. Road Map Consulting LLC (RMC), a small business consulting company, is hosting a free webinar for business owners who want to participate in the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program.
The webinar entitled “Who Wants To Get 8(a) Certified?” will take place Thursday, February 28th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST, and cover eligibility requirements, navigating the application process, mistakes to avoid and more with attendees.
The main goal of the SBA 8(a) program is to help owners of small businesses that are considered socially or economically disadvantaged become thriving competitors in the federal marketplace. RMC encourages business owners across industries to participate and learn more about how they can grow their business within the Federal Government Marketplace.
