123securityproducts.com Announces the SNC-DM110 and SNC-DM160, Sony's First Megapixel Network IP Cameras

123securityproducts.com has available the next generation in surveillance cameras. Sony's SNC-DM110 and SNC-DM160 network ip cameras come with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels and are designed for high quality recording.

Farmingville, NY (PRWEB) July 8, 2009 -- Sony is an industry leader in surveillance products and has now released their first Megapixel Network IP cameras. The SNC-DM110 and SNC-DM160 (ruggedized vandal-resistant) are a new generation of network mini-dome cameras. These new cameras use many unique features that set them apart from other Network IP cameras.

With a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, the SNC-DM series cameras can obtain a clear and detailed image at an angle of up to 100 degrees. The combination of progressive scan CCDs with ExwavePRO technology and a Light Funnel function provide crisp images in a day or night setting, even when viewing moving objects. Light Funnel technology works by combining image data gathered from multiple horizontally and vertically aligned pixels that then provide extremely bright image output. This function can be controlled manually to respond to the light conditions around the camera.

For viewing objects from a distance, the SNC-DM160 is equipped with a powerful 3.6x vari-focal zoom lens, while the SNC-DM110 has a 3.4x vari-focal zoom lens. The iris of the camera can be easily adjusted for quick focusing of the camera, even while zooming.

Intelligent motion detection, privacy zone masking and solid PTZ/cropping function (minimizes data when network bandwidth is limited) are just some of the other high quality features that are apart of the SNC-DM series megapixel IP cameras.

Since these are network cameras, they can be used by PoE (power over Ethernet), but they can also use 24V AC or 12V DC power. Whichever power is used, these cameras will automatically adapt. This makes for a quick install.

Parking garages and building entrance ways are optimal places for these cameras since those are the types of areas where a detailed image is essential. Built with the highest quality of surveillance in mind, Sony sets the bar in Network IP camera solutions.
