Soleo to Work with Squire Technologies for SS7 to VoIP Network Extension

Soleo Communications, Inc. has entered into an agreement with UK-based signaling specialists Squire Technologies, to leverage their Media Gateway to provide SS7 to VoIP connections for Soleo customers.

Soleo provides call processing solutions for carriers and advertising partners around the globe. Squire’s Media Gateway will be deployed in telecommunications networks to VoIP-enable Soleo’s Call Transfer Service™. This service enables carriers to intercept calls to non-working business numbers and transfer them to a directory assistance/enquiry agent who can assist the caller in finding another business that will meet their needs. This delivers a new level of service to consumers and a new source of revenues from increased directory assistance call volumes. Consumers no longer find just a “dead end” when a business number is disconnected. Now, a helpful agent can help them find a business that can meet their needs.

To quickly deliver this new revenue-generating service Soleo utilized Squire’s R&D services.
