Simpsonville, SC (PRWEB) March 26, 2013

At a recent luncheon in Charleston, South Carolina, Sabai Technology was recognized by Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sanchez for successful entrance into the global marketplace. Sabai was one of only three companies in the state to be awarded the Export Achievement Certificate.

From a small brick building in Simpsonville, South Carolina, Sabai Technology has become expert in shipping their product all over the world. Visitors to the company's offices will find a map stuck with many, multi-colored, straight pins. “Each of these pins marks a country we have successfully shipped to. So far, there are about 120 pins,” says company president William Haynes.

Sabai Technology is known internationally as a leader in advanced networking technology, specifically consumer VPN Routers. The companies firmware allows users to tunnel a VPN provider subscription to any networked device in their home, for clientless VPN access. Many of Sabai Technology’s customers are corporate assignment expatriates, military stationed overseas, or otherwise deployed government agents. Due to the nature of their market, approximately 45% of Sabai Technology’s shipments are exports.

When Haynes first realized the potential of the international market for Sabai, he contacted Denis Csizmadia, manager of the Greenville U.S. Export Assistance Center (USEAC) for guidance. “The resources available from the USEAC are amazing. We knew early on that to be successful in the international market, the customer had to trust us to deliver the product quickly and securely,” says Haynes. “Without the help of the USEAC and FedEx, our international shipping partner, we wouldn’t have the same reputation for excellence we enjoy today. Sabai Technology customers are confident they are in good hands.”

While Sabai Technology products clearly have a global impact, the presence of the company is also apparent in the local economy. Sabai has more than tripled its staff size in the past two years and continues to enjoy accelerated growth. With new products in development that are expected to appeal to a wider demographic, this growth is only expected to increase in size and scope.

“Sabai’s decision to explore new markets and introduce its products to the global marketplace has made a tremendous impact on the both company’s bottom line and the local economy, proving exports can make a positive difference,” added Under Secretary Sanchez.
