Datel’s long-term dedication to the Sage 200 enterprise resource planning solution and the Sage 200 user community has culminated in an evening of awards success at the annual Sage Business Partner Awards, held at Madame Tussauds London on February 10th.
Accepting the award on behalf of the Datel team, Executive Chairman Alan Simpson said: “Every year, we set ourselves even higher targets and I am proud of our achievements, both in being once again the top-performing Sage 200 Business Partner and in winning the Sage 200 CRM Business Partner award.”
Datel Managing Director David Preston commented: “Moving to Sage 200 can represent a significant step for our customers, who may previously have relied heavily on manual processes or a simple accounting package. We can help growing businesses to plan for an effective migration and gain the best possible return on their investment in Sage 200. Either as part of the implementation or as a later addition, we can set up the Sage 200 CRM module to help them build strong, profitable relationships with their customers.”
Businesses moving to Sage 200 with Datel’s help in 2013 included luxury Knightsbridge hotel Bulgari Hotel, multi-disciplined integrated service provider M.J. Quinn and food ingredient supplier EHL Ingredients.
Matt Agrimi, Director of Procurement, Shared Services, at Merseyside-based M.J. Quinn, says: “It was important to find a provider with the technical and project management capabilities to ensure a smooth transition. We felt that Datel really listened when we outlined how our business works, the issues we were experiencing, and our ambitions, rather than trying to plug a particular solution.”
Sharp's Brewery from Rock, north Cornwall, uses a Sage 200 CRM solution implemented and supported by Datel. Commercial Accountant Richard Hillier comments: “Datel helped us no end in scoping our requirements for CRM, holding workshops and setting up the additional module of our Sage 200 solution. All sales calls, both over the telephone and in person, are now made through Sage 200 CRM and all orders are captured through it, while our eight field-based salespeople, who cover most of the south of England, really benefit from mobile access to information via their tablet device.”
Demonstrating the breadth of its capabilities, Datel also received the Sage ERP 1000 Business Partner of the Year award at the event.
Datel is the leading Sage Business Partner in the UK, providing Sage consultancy, implementation and support for Sage 200, Sage Line 500, Sage ERP 1000, Sage ERP X3, SalesLogix, Sage CRM and Sage Tax.
