Goodwill Fridays starts Friday, February 25th, 2011, in Santa Monica, CA, volunteers from Save U.S. Jobs are donating their Lunch Hour to meet with people to listen, support, find solutions to work related problems, and make life great.

The Problem

The economy has put a strain on how companies treat employees. Employee dissatisfaction with work is at an all-time high. Work related stress has a negative impact on people's health and wellbeing, on their work productivity, and personal relationships with friends and family.

Most people are unable to talk or complain about their work related problems at work for fear of losing their job. People can't talk about work at home, because it strains and stresses relationships. People try to deal with problems on their own, and their job performance suffers, their work life balance is uneven, and they find less joy at work every day.

1) Every Friday, volunteers will meet people to listen, talk and provide support.

3) Provide free resume review service.
4) Provide a free service to promote people who are looking for work on SaveUSJobs Website
5) Write summary reviews of people's skills to help connect employees to new jobs.

Background

Save U.S. Jobs.org, launched in January 2009, a Social Collaborative Movement Working to Empower Our Workforce; Making Work Happy, and Life Great! Their collaborative recruiting solution raises money to invest in education, and causes that people care about most.
