Save US Jobs a Social Responsible recruiting organization will work every weekend in 2010 to find people jobs in Los Angeles.

To be successful, SaveUSJobs invites individuals, communities and companies to participate and collaborate; and together we will employ America. Individual knowledge is good, community knowledge is great. Together we create solutions, share information and empower America.

Problem:

With 12% unemployment in Los Angeles, people are having a hard time finding a job. There are many companies that are hiring, but are overwhelmed with the deluge of candidates responding to open positions from job boards. Furthermore, people are paying a lot of money for resume writing services that provide little help in landing a job. Candidates and companies are not connecting, and positions sit unfilled.

Solution:

Starting on July 3rd, 2010
SaveUSJobs.org is working weekends to help people find employment opportunities. Every weekend for the rest of 2010, our staff, volunteers, and interns will be actively meeting candidates giving them strategies to succeed in the job market, resume writing tips, and leads for positions.

How Companies Make a Difference and Get Involved

1) Companies send open positions to SaveUSJobs

SaveUSJobs will offer no fee recruiting for any non-IT or non-engineering position for 2010 based in Los Angeles. We will meet candidates in person, and prequalifying them, before presenting them for open positions to Human Resource departments. This will help streamline hiring and reduce cost per hire at companies.

2) Companies Hire SaveUSJobs for their IT/Engineering recruiting needs

SaveUSJobs will take 10% of each IT and engineering recruiting placement fee to offset the cost of hiring interns, resume writers, and professional coaches. This will allow us to help more people find jobs.
