Sloan-C and MERLOT Announce ‘Best-in-Track’ Awards for Upcoming International Symposium for ‘Emerging Technologies for Online Learning’
Newburyport, MA (PRWEB) February 14, 2014 -- The Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C) and MERLOT today announced “Best-in-Track” sessions, recognizing exceptional speaker submissions for the 7th Annual International Symposium for Emerging Technologies for Online Learning (ET4Online), which is produced jointly by Sloan-C and MERLOT, and takes place April 9-11, in Dallas, Texas.
The Best-in-Track designation is awarded to the session proposal in each track that has achieved distinction in the review process. The selection is made from any combination of the following: highest combined review score, closest alignment to the conference goals, or recognition for distinction through peer reviewers, with final selection by the ET4Online Program Chair(s) and Conference Chair.

• Evidence-based Learning Track: “Effects of Belongingness and Synchronicity on Face-to-Face and Online Cooperative Learning,” Andrew Saltarelli, Stanford University
• Learning Environments Track: “Twelve Strategies to Promote Online Growth While Ensuring Quality,” Brian Udermann, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
