We can meet the needs of more Training and Development Professionals with SCORM Support.

Winnipeg, Manitoba (PRWEB) April 03, 2013

SmarterU.com, an innovative learning management system (LMS) for mid-sized businesses, associations and franchise operations, is pleased to announce that it has introduced full SCORM 1.2 and 2004 support as of April 2013.

SCORM – Sharable Content Object Reference Model – is global standard for packaging eLearning / online training content. SCORM support allows SmarterU.com clients to import courses created in industry standard SCORM-compliant tools such as Articulate and Adobe Captivate.

“Introducing SCORM support is important to a growing number of our current and potential clients,” says Dan Belhassen, President of SmarterU.com. “While most of our clients build courses using our integrated course editor, many clients come to us with a library of existing SCORM courses, which are now fully supported. We can meet the needs of more Training and Development Professionals with SCORM support.”

SCORM is a specification of the ADL Registry Initiative (Advanced Distributed Learning), which comes out of the Office of the United States Secretary of Defence.
