Hot Homes Wanted to receive Rewards up to $8,000.00 - not dead, but alive!

Chatsworth, CA (PRWEB) June 28, 2012

Progressive Insulation & Windows (Progressive) recently launched a new marketing campaign centered on the theme of Wanted with Reward. Progressive wants San Fernando Valley homeowners with homes overwhelmed by summer heat to have their homes profiled to see how well they qualify for the reward of up to $8,000.00 in incentive rebates from Energy Upgrade California in LA County. The evaluation is performed with a quick and efficient Home Profile tool.

Customers of Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) living in these San Fernando Valley districts who also receive service from LADWP will be especially pleased to benefit from increases in the incentive amounts that SoCalGas is making available through the Energy Upgrade California program. These rewards are only available now through September 1, 2012, at the increased value of a maximum of $4,000.00. The more energy a homeowner saves, the higher the incentive.

LA County supports the increased rebates and incentives being offered by SoCalGas to residents by providing a matching dollar bonus of up to $4,000.00, making the maximum incentive a robust $8,000.00. For homes from 1000 to 1500 square feet of living space, the incentives offered can often cover a large percentage of the upgrade work necessary to achieve the higher levels of energy savings.

The Home Profile offered by Progressive is a helpful way to estimate the level of incentive available to the homeowner. Each home is unique and needs to receive a full home energy assessment to set the official targeted energy savings. The home energy assessment must be performed by a participating Energy Upgrade California contractor. The Home Profile lets the homeowner know generally how their home measures up for potential energy savings before entering the Energy Upgrade program with the official home energy assessment.

Steve Anderson, President of Progressive, said, “Progressive is eager to help homeowners get the highest incentive reward and the ongoing reward of saving money on their utility bill while also having a cooler home for the rest of the summer. It costs to cool a home when there’s little or no protection from the sun. Now is a good time to take advantage of the incentive programs available while they last.

“To expedite entry into the Energy Upgrade California program, Progressive is offering the Home Profile to SoCalGas customers at no cost. Get your home profiled and enter the program of energy upgrades that will make home a great summer retreat – cool and comfortable. We’ll help you apply for the incentives. Nothing left for you to do but to pocket the extra money and enjoy a cooler summer,” Anderson concluded.

Energy Upgrade California was created to help California businesses and homeowners reduce energy use by offering incentives and rebates to customers who make upgrades designed to make the energy systems in their business or home work together efficiently. This whole building performance approach typically lowers utility bills while improving efficiency and comfort.
