Creative agency JESS3 has joined the highly selective roster of the Society of Digital Agencies, an international association of respected digital marketing agency leaders, entrepreneurs and visionaries.

Membership to SoDA, formed in 2008, is by invitation only and involves contributing and volunteering to work on behalf of the entire digital advertising industry. SoDA strives to facilitate open discussions between digital and traditional agencies, as well as brand marketers and clients, for the betterment of the entire digital advertising and communication industry. Its membership includes 60 leading digital companies – including top digital agencies and elite production companies – with offices in 24 countries employing more than 2,700 digital professionals.

JESS3’s entry into SoDA, Buettner added, signifies a conscious move toward diversifying the organization’s membership base into more niche, specialized practice areas within digital. JESS3 specializes in the art of data visualization, with services ranging from UI / UX, animation, content creation and digital PR to the development of large-scale installations, social strategies, data visualizations and infographics.

“We’ve closely watched the agencies in SoDA for the last four years, and been inspired by their work, their methodologies and their founders,” said Leslie Bradshaw, JESS3’s co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer. “To think that we are now a part of SoDA – and among agencies like Made by Many, Resn and Phenomblue – is a dream come true.”

Bradshaw added: “We will not only bring insights into the process of analyzing and visualizing data, but we also hope to provide a lens into what the agency of the future looks like – from our digital native roots to our success producing socially optimized content.”

The honor follows two major milestones for the founders of JESS3: co-founder Jesse Thomas and Bradshaw moved the agency’s headquarters from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles in June, and both were named “Top 30 Under 30” entrepreneurs for 2012 by Inc. Magazine. Thomas currently is attending SoDA’s Global Member Meeting in Montreal, Canada.
