Sogeti USA to Host Microsoft Windows 7 ® Event, in Des Moines, IA
Sessions to Feature Speakers from Sogeti and Microsoft
Dayton, OH (Vocus/PRWEB ) October 14, 2009 -- Sogeti, a premier provider of information technology services, announced today that it will host an event "Experience Windows 7" on October 22, 2009, in Des Moines, IA. The event date is coordinated with Microsoft's official launch date of Windows 7.
The "Experience Windows 7" event will be focused on helping businesses maximize the benefits of the new operating system, including making users productive anywhere, streamlining PC management and enhancing security and control.
There will be two sessions in the event, End User/Desk Top and Infrastructure/Back Office. The End User/Desktop session will deliver the need to know information to make sure that users are aware of the new features and upgrades to ensure that they are utilizing Windows 7 to its fullest. During the Infrastructure/Back Office session, attendees will find out the best ways to prepare for and execute their Windows 7 upgrade, with practical advice and helpful tips to make their migration seamless, as well as how Windows Server 2008 R2 with Windows 7 delivers on the better together story.
The event's featured speakers are Microsoft's Travis Coleman and Sogeti USA's John McCartan. Coleman has worked in the IT field for 15 years and joined Microsoft in 2006, focusing on Windows Client technologies including Windows as well as other solutions such as Application and Desktop Virtualization, OS Deployment and Management. McCartan is the Director of the Microsoft Practice for Sogeti USA's Des Moines unit and he has nearly 20 years of experience with Microsoft technologies.
"I have been running Windows 7 for 10 months," explains McCartan. "I am very excited for the official release and for the opportunity to ensure successful upgrades for our clients. This event will better equip all attendees to get the most from Windows 7."
