Riverdale, NY (PRWEB) November 8, 2009
Real Estate Disposition, LLC (REDC), the nation's largest real estate auction firm, will auction 54 luxurious high end condominium homes located at Solaria Riverdale on November 22 at 1 p.m. at Sheraton Hotel and Towers.
It is the first high-rise luxury residential building in the tri-state area to hold an auction for its homes, announced Arc Development, the property's developer.
"Everyone who visits Solaria loves what they see, from the spacious homes to the wonderful building amenities," says Joseph Korff, president of Arc Development.
"Many brokers and prospects who visit Solaria believe it has finishes and layouts better than some of the most expensive new developments in Manhattan - yet at much lower prices," Korff adds. "This is a perfect time to buy, especially with the favorable financing programs that our preferred lenders can provide with interest rates at or near historic lows. We decided to accelerate sales by letting the market speak through the auction process."
Solaria Riverdale's sales office is located at 640 West 237th St, Riverdale, 10463. For a free auction brochure please call 1- 800-617-0961 or visit http://www.AuctionToday.com.

Solaria's spacious floor-to-ceiling-windowed homes average 1,500 to 2,000 square feet and were listed from $660,000 to $4.35 million. Auction bids will start as low as $299,000. Terrace and penthouse homes, some in excess of 3,000 square feet, will also be auctioned.
Modern-day real estate auctions have gained tremendous popularity among buyers and sellers, particularly in today's economic environment. According to REDC CEO Jeffrey Frieden, auctions now play a major role in real estate sales with ever-increasing numbers of developers, builders, and the public, making auctions the preferred choice over conventional, time consuming and expensive sales methods.
"Consumers are just now beginning to understand how beneficial our auctions are," he says. "We are already seeing enormous interest in the Solaria auction. New Yorkers have been waiting for an event like this, the first of its kind in over a decade."
Solaria is the highest building in Riverdale and offers unprecedented views of the Hudson River, Palisades and Manhattan. The unique development includes onsite parking; a state-of-the-art fitness center; 24-hour doorman and concierge service; a lounge and entertainment center with a home theater system, dining area and kitchen; an indoor-outdoor children's play area designed and furnished by Pottery Barn Kids; and the city's first stargazing roof deck with Meade telescope observatory.
Riverdale is one of the premier Hudson River communities in New York City. The neighborhood is home to some of the best private and public schools in New York City, and for those who appreciate nature, there is the legendary Wave Hill gardens and art gallery, hiking and jogging trails, horseback riding, golf, tennis and outdoor swimming pools. Shopping and dining areas are a five-minute walk from the building. Solaria also offers residents a commuter shuttle service for an effortless commute to Manhattan. Commuting to midtown can take as little as 20 minutes.
