Bloomfield Hills, MI (PRWEB) October 23, 2013
Star NeuroScience Foundation announced today an exclusive Georgia partnership with CureLauncher, the only organization that matches people to ALL enrolling clinical trials.
CureLauncher, based in Michigan, is a clinical trial matching service that was created to give patients and caregivers unbiased and easy-to-understand information about new treatments available through clinical trials.
"CureLauncher has created a patient-focused approach to clinical trials by putting people and their families first," said David Fuehrer, CureLauncher President. Fuehrer is a two-time cancer survivor and active speaker and volunteer. “We respect Star Neuroscience Foundation’s mission of putting the patient first. Together, CureLauncher and Star Neuroscience Foundation give people a way to find new treatments faster.”
The partnership with CureLauncher was announced in conjunction with a change in the Foundation’s name change to “Star Neuroscience Foundation.”
“Just as a star provides light and direction in a dark night, the Star Neuroscience Foundation sheds light on the need for more medical research and putting the patient first in seeking cures and treatments for devastating diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and stroke,” said Susie Brown, Executive Director of Star Neuroscience Foundation.
“Through our partnership with CureLauncher we can help patients find new treatments,” said Brown. “This fits with our mission to encourage and train more physicians to participate in clinical trials, facilitate patient enrollment and support clinical research on a local level.”
