State and Federal Poster Inc. warns Maine of their newest change to the Whistleblowers Poster which is now required for the 2012 posting. Also changes are found on the Maine Regulation of Employment poster. And a new minimum wage has been stated to help the protection of employees which has also been added to the Maine Minimum Wage poster stating that employers may not discriminate against their wages. An additional update on this poster expands information regarding counselors who are exempt from the state’s minimum wage and overtime provisions. These posters must be posted with the NLRA poster which is required for all states. The NLRA Poster is a law that specifically excludes public sector employees, agricultural and domestic workers, independent contractors, workers employed by a parent or spouse, and employees of air and rail carriers covered by the Railway Labor Act.
