Stratford Career Institute’s home study Drafting with AutoCAD® course has received numerous updates to the curriculum that are now available to students.
“Students enrolled in Stratford’s Drafting with AutoCAD® course receive a plethora of information ranging from fundamental theory and modern technique to direct project work,” said Dr. Claude Major, Director of Education for Stratford Career Institute. “This is a very comprehensive course designed to help students take the first step toward a rewarding, new career,” he added.
Stratford’s course begins with a review of all the major components of the personal computer as they relate to a career in computer aided drafting. Students then begin study on the fundamental teaching and techniques involved in a career in modern drafting. Next, students receive a comprehensive overview of Windows 7. The final components of the course deal strictly with using AutoCAD® software.
AutoCAD® 2012 software is provided to all students who enroll in the course and is included in Stratford’s all-inclusive tuition.
Similar to Stratford’s popular high school diploma program, the eight-module Drafting with AutoCAD® course can be completed entirely at home through guided, independent study. Due to the use of computer software students need to learn in this course, access to a computer is required.
Students can complete exams online, through the mail or in combination. Instructors are available throughout the entire course via e-mail and toll-free phone. Stratford’s online eService allows students to track shipments, make tuition payments, use the online library, and more.
